In 2010 there are many different surfboards and manufacturers to choose from. Their quality and design rationales run the spectrum from excellent to rubbish. Although there appears to be a massive choice of surfboards.....much of what is presented is merely marketing hype/distortion of the truth and often outright lies...particularly in relation to the various imported boards and American brands. So paradoxically, in terms of legitimate surfboard designs and build quality,there are very few.

Grant Miller has been designing and shaping surfboards both here and internationally for the last 30 years and has shaped in excess of 19,000 boards.

Whether you are a highly experienced surfer or a raw beginner,your situation will be treated as unique. You will receive equal time and attention from Grant, who will work closely with you to design a board which meets your needs now....and also those needs which will naturally emerge as your surfing progresses.

Boards.

V-SKATE at first glance resembles a regular thruster. However closer inspection reveals a board with far greater volume than normal and an intricate bottom shape combining concaves and a spiral vee for generating high speeds. The V-SKATE has approximately 6% less volume than a Waterskate -- resulting in a "just noticable difference".

This board is an excellent choice for those wanting high performance with extra paddling power.

F-SKATE is a dedicated small wave fish...... perfect for waves up to 4�(a touch overhead). Low rocker combined with well concealed volume and subtle concaves create a board with excellent paddle power and high speed potential. The F-SKATE is fast in a straight line and when encouraged really takes off over flat sections and in gutless conditions.....in good waves....all the better.
