Mingara Recreation Club

Why is it taking so long for the owners to re-vamp this place and make it as fantastic as it could be? The restaurants are so underwhelming, that pizza/burger joint was a shocker and I think it has finally closed down.

Indigo is a pricey for what they offer, especially being that you go up and order and pay, so not seated with service. Poor.
Roasted Berry's menu selection used to be great but they've changed it so many times, they don't know what they're doing and there's stuff all choice now.
Chinese restaurant has been great for takeaway, have not yet dined in.

When is somebody going to make drastic changes and make this place busy and booming like it should be ???

We eat here often especially at indigo's restaurant.The food is always fresh and cooked well however the portion size has reduced dramatically within the past year.Also the menu needs to have more choices and they need to change the menu more often especially the roast dinner which is always chicken.

Mingara has a great swimming pool centre and fun for all ages. On the hot days in the area, it was great to get out of the sun and into cool water. The current pool is fun to float around in.

Waldo was dragged kicking and screaming to an orchid show, i think i was the youngest there...Well no my youngster she was the youngest there, the missus then me. Youngster was craving anything food so we left the missus to wander about planning her spending spree...Orchids are interesting and the flowers are spectacular.

Dined here last night 9/4/12. Great food, would love to give it more than 3.5 stars however we did wait quite a long time for our food. It was very busy and a public holiday so I guess this is to be expected. However, apart from that, the food was amazing. I had a very difficult time choosing what to order because I wanted to try almost everything. Before our food even came out, our table had agreed to come back (if the food was good) just so we could try some more of the menu. I had the marinated pork cutlet, which was exceptional. I will be returning.
