Moisture Control Services have little professional integrity. And they are extremely slow, uncommunicative and difficult to deal with. (1) We paid MCS to test the mould in our apartment. The Principal reported high levels of mould and eventually instructed us to leave the apartment immediately and importantly to decontaminate all our contents in order to not transport the mould spores to the next apartment. But later when their client became our real estate agent who took over the process - when they were being paid by the agent - they changed the wording of their instructions and effectively allowed the agent to not compensate us for the laborious and expensive process of drycleaning and decontaminating all our individual contents. In other words, they went back on their professional advice and professional report when the person paying changed from the tenant to agent.
