Absolutely appalling service. They neglected to inform us that our flight schedule was changed by the airline. When queried, the airline advised us that Monte Carlo Travel was notified about the changes long before we left for our trip. As a result, we incurred extra expenses totalling around $1000.00, as we missed our flight. We also were forced to miss our one-night stopover in Bangkok, where the hotel had already been paid for, and for which it was unrefundable.
After returning we approached them for reimbursement of our extra expenses, due to their negligence in not notifying us of the airline changes. They refused on the grounds that we "should have rung the airline 72 hours before leaving". This was not previously explained to us, nor were we issued with any terms and conditions with our tickets.
I rate them as very unprofessional people, who dont care about their clients once they have taken their money.
