Morayfield Seafood Markets

I stopped going to this takeaway years ago as their food was average at best but thought I'd try them again tonite. It took 45 minutes to get my order. The Calamari was cooked beautifully but the order was so loaded with salt it was inedible. Sadly it went straight in the bin. I wont be going back.

Been going here for a while and use to be pretty good.
Tonight we got their new skinny chips, absolute rubbish. Won't be back. Everyone likes the fatter chips :(

love the seafood and potato scollaps here but twice in one week i have had problems first time the fish was still in the register as 2 for 10 took about 10 min to fix that problem went again tonight after 35 min went up to find out about my order and took about 5 min to find out they had lost it then another 5 min to get my money back as i was not going to wait for them to do my order had to go home and then find food for 4 adults for tea

We have shopped at the large family owned store since it opened in the early ninities and award it 5 stars.We have thoroughly enjoyed every fresh seafood purchase, takeaways are delicious, and so is eating in. They are always very busy which is great, which means that what they sell is very fresh or freshly cooked but wating annoys some people with short fuses. My late Father was a customer of the families first store in 1961 and we were overjoyed when we moved to this area and discovered they had opened Caboolture Seafood Market in the early eighties it became a carepark many years ago. . We were loyal customers to that store until they opened Morayfield Seafood Market years prior to the opening of the Morayfield Plaza Shopping Centre and as we live in Morayfield we changed to shopping at Morayfield Seafood Market. Words cannot describe how bad their service is... they only take a few phone orders an hour and then demand you walk in and place your order... Problem with that is, wait times are anywhere from 45mins to an hour and a half... for Fish and Chips!!! The reason people call is to reduce the time they have to hang around waiting and watching most of your large staff stand around doing nothing!

It's not rocket science, nor is it gourmet or anything special. It's fish and chips.
