My car AC was cool but not cold. At 65,000 klms they said I need new compressor and regas. Thats $1200. Went to Pine Rivers Car Electrics in Lawnton. It needed a regas only @ $140. And by the way a new compressor etc there is only $800. Case Closed

I have used Mr Cool twice over the last couple of years. The first time was in 2014. I had bought a Toyota Tarago that was said to just need a regas to get the air working. I went to a local (Graceville) garage who specialized in air con. They charged me $250 but the air still did not work. In desperation I thought I had better go to an expert air con place. I had driven past the Mr Cool shop many times over the years and they always seemed busy. They did the job but this time when I drove out the air was REALLY cold. The price was $700 but I saw the dud compressor and relay removed and the replacement ones fitted. I sold the van this year and got top price for it mainly because of the great air con. I bought a Toyota Estima a few months ago. I got it cheap because the air con was not working. This time I went straight to Mr Cool and $250 later I have freezing air. I have no problem recomending Mr Cool to my family and friends.

Couldn't thank them more for fixing an on going issue with my air-con. Cost was the same as quoted which was a nice change from some other work shops.

Fantastic business and a pleasure to deal with. AC system on my '07 Golf R32 was failing and after attempts at replacing valves, gaskets and recharges from other workshops, it was still not cooling.

Mr Cool identified the problem immediately and quoted me on repairs. Luckily the vehicle was still covered under and extended warranty policy, and Margaret (who is knowledgeable, helpful and polite) dealt with the insurance company directly to have the vehicle's entire AC system replaced.

The workshop was able to account for my difficult work hours, and I was able to pickup the vehicle after hours from at my convenience. Result was fantastic, vehicle was clean, AC works great (still does) and I could speak to the mechanic working on my car to explain exactly what was happening and how they were progressing.

Fixed my cars air-conditioning promptly when I was absolutely melting in the heat of summer! They were honest and upfront about pricing and time. All the staff were very helpful and Ben isn't too bad to look at either ;)
