I fully agree with the two previous comments. Yes, Gerard was a gentleman and his customer services were outstanding – always polite, helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, his son, who now runs the Newsagency, has not inherited any of his late father’s fine qualities: depending on his mood, he can be very rude and condescending. He treats customers in a very patronising way and this is not only my experience and observation. We have been loyal patrons of the Newsagency for 25+ years but NOT ANYMORE!
Very dissapointed, my son was super excited to ride his bike down to spend $21 on Pokémon cards, only to be treated rudely by the so called manager of the store. Really dont appreciate adults who treat children with disrespect, particularly when they are paying patrons and deserve customer service.
Rang the store and gave the Manager a serve, certainly had a different tone when dealing with an adult.
First time customers, last time patrons.
