I love love the ambience here and the food is presented beautifully. Unfortunately, the duck and the tortellini was a little dry this experience and the service was a little slow. We waited almost an hour for our mains. The prawns however were delicious, 3 giant king prawns in a beautiful olive and herb sauce. The desert I tried was the vanilla ice cream served with biscuit, toffee-like sauce and bananas, it was like a banoffee ice cream.
With a large group of 14, and no booking, we were a little bold thinking there would be availability for us. I called in advance and let the waitress know we planned on coming, she wasn't sure she would have space but she happily obliged to seat is outside. We arrived at 3:00 and considering the restaurant closes then, the staff were still so helpful, taking our orders, rearranging seating for the infants with us, filling our glasses with water... It was a pleasure being there and feeling the warm hospitality! We were not all eating, yet they still happily seated us and let us share meals. The menu was also amazing, prawns, balmain bugs, blue cheese burgers, hand cut chips... It was so difficult to choose what to order! I first visited Muse Kitchen in January 2012 with my husband and came back again last weekend. The restaurant, situated on the grounds of the new Keith Tulloch winery, is just as pretty and the food is just as good.
