The best restaurant I've ever eaten in! Superb, considerate service. Extraordinary but unobtrusive attention to detail. Beautiful food. We were greeted immediately, our jackets were taken and hung, and we were invited to enjoy a drink while our table was prepared (we booked for the late seating and arrived a little early). The maître d' was completely across my dining companions' dietary requirements which we mentioned in passing when booking. The sommelier gave us some recommendations that were spot on. Delicious meals, exquisitely presnted. Such a great dining experience. At the end of the night we were each presented with our own jacket - no questions, they knew exactly whose jacket was whose. To be this good, there is far more to this retaurant than meets the eye.
Amazing! Expensive, but excellent when you want to treat yourself! The dining room is small and decorated classically. It is attached to the Cellar Door and extremely professional. We received a mushroom macaroon compliments of the chef when we arrived, which was a nice touch. The signature coconut dessert definitely lives up to the hype. Can't wait to go back!
Truly delightful from start to finish.
We were greeted at the door by faultless staff and walked to our table before being offered menus and our preference of water.
We ordered two courses for approx $75 dollars and enjoyed people watching and gazing into the fireplace as we waited for the food. The service was timely and professional.
A true sign of fine dining, we were given bread (and offered more later on), before an amuse bouche - which was incredible.
The entree was followed by a palate cleanser of mandarin sorbet and the mains were followed by a plate of petit fours (we did not order dessert).
The food was fantastic - beautiful presentation and lovely flavours.
For a true dining experience look no further.
Muse restaurant at Hungerford Hill winery is a fantastic dining experience in the Hunter Valley.
The service is excellent,the food is great..not really small portions as can sometimes be the downfall of some really good restaurants.I first dined here before Christmas 2010,and couldn't wait to return to share the experience with my wife,we are Hunter valley locals and dine regularly in the vineyards,Muse is my favourite until I find something to rival it.
