My wife and I moved to the area and decided to take our 4wd to the Kmart TAS in Annandale because its walking distance from our house. We were quoted $2000 for various 'upgrades' due to the number of kilometres the car had done.
We decided to get a 2nd opinion from our mechanic of several years who said our car was in actually in top shape and didn't need anything done! We're never ever going back there again.
I've never looked back since I took my car to Peter at Kmart Auto in Annandale (years ago), even after moving to the Northern Beaches.
Peter is an honest no gimmick mechanic whom I know I can rely on.
He's never tried selling me what I don't need and offers competitive prices. Always warns me ahead of time what may need fixing or replacing and my car is always ready at the specified time - on time every time! Highly recommended!

As a first time female car owner/new driver (over 40yrs old) I was anxious to have my car serviced & checked for safety as well as new tyres fitted.
I was treated respectfully and most importantly politely by Peter and ALL of the staff.
They went all out to teach me the basics of car care, tyre & pressure, some driving tips & even showed me how to fill the tank!!!!
