As it was my first time in Perth I wanted to check out the City Mall and the shopping sales it had to offer. First stop first - Myers! Not that much different to Adelaide, the sales were all the same and nothing more or nothing less but I did manage to walk out with a couple of items! :)

Ordered a gift voucher for a colleague I've worked closely with and there were a couple of issues getting it to her - she didn't get it on the day for her birthday and we had to chase it up a couple of times.

Purchased a suit with \'two\' trousers from Perth Myer store last week ...total $555 ...didn\'t have second pair for same brand ...so I was sent to their other branch. Much telephoning there but pair found as allocated ...said thank you and walked out to more shopping ...and that\'s when Myer\'s sales pitches, comparisons with like stores with better customer service and public pretense at PR went out of the proverbial store window. security tag not taken off, beeping everywhere ...felt like a thief ...urgent call for me to return ...no, \'extra\' trousers were to cost $275! Nothing said by any sales people about having to pay ...or I would not have purchased this very poor product as it turns out. Complained to Myer online, read the Customer Service Charter buff with the usual platitudes but no contact otherwise nor resolution ...a week later so we are off to the courts after this Friday ...hmmm all I want for Christmas is my agreed second trousers or my money back ...read more
