Myola Tourist & Caravan Park

If you are used to touring, this is NOT the caravan park for you. The park is chockers with on-site vans (many of them dilapidated) so the management dont have to try for the tourist business as they have a guaranteed income. At $30 a nite (March 2015) I dont expect to pay additional money for showers. Even in Wilcannia western NSW and Farina, northern South Australia both arid areas, I didnt pay additional for showers. There are no rubbish bins in the anywhere. There is a person in the office who really doesnt care. About the only nice thing is the birds and the kangaroos that graze at night but you can get them elsewhere. DONT waste time and money coming here. There are much better places around.

Stayed early December 2012 in an ensuite cabin. Very pleased with the friendly staff, the spotless cleanliness of the cabin and the general condition of the park. Visited by the local kangaroos. However, was disappointed that the cabin wasn't air-conditioned. Although the main living area had a ceiling fan which kept that area comfortable, even though it was an unseasonably cool weekend the bedroom was a bit too uncomfortably warm even with all the windows open (which as a security paranoid city slicker made me a bit nervous at night).
