Chips barely cooked, took them back and they just put them back in the fryer (yuk, dodgy). Discovered there was only 10 oysters in the dozen, expensive seafood and not very fresh, staff not very friendly. Will not be going back here again, can't recommend, time to try elsewhere.
Overcharged on eftpos machine but fortunately I noticed amount. No apology just words exchanged with staff in another languange. Sea scallops raw inside but burnt on out side which suggests dirty oil. Bought a tray of oysters. Get home to find only 10 not a gozen for top dollar. Here in Aus oysters are sold by the dozen or half. Very very sneaky indeed. Wont be back.
I used to love this shop until they started to go down hill. For example a burger with the lot; one would assume at least pineapple would be on this and the last 3 times ive made an order for this burger with pineapple the burger I got had a pineapple fritter on it. Does it take a rocket scientist to work out that pineapple fritters dont go on a burger with the lot? clearly It must because the staff here cant figure it out.
ive also noted the attitude of the staff as utterly disgusting compared to the once awesome and helpful staff they once had. But the pincher was today when I went to pick up $10 worth of chips and was a bit surprised at the size of $10 worth of chips. When I walked back into the store to check the sizes on the wall and walked out I noted the staff laughing at me. Having seen the store whilst grocery shopping, I thought I would call to find out if a) they were open today and b) do they have a menu online. The staff I spoke to was enthusiastic. The staff struggled answering if they were open today and said 'I don't know if our menu is on the internet but people get menus off our counter when they buy stuff'..... Super!
