National Military Vehicle Museum & Military Vehicle Preservation Society of SA

Okay, it is a little hard to get to, especially if you don't have a car (and even then finding it can be confusing I ended up driving all over the place until I discovered the armour car parked out the front), but this is one of those places that people who simply love looking at military vehicles are going to have a field day. In fact there are heaps of vehicles of all different sorts (though no planes or helicopters), and they even all work. Mind you the collection in places is all over the place they have simply crammed a whole heap of vehicles into the museum, though they do have a number of specific displays, including a room that is simply crowded full of radio equipment. Sure, this may not be everybody's cup of tea, but it is certainly a really cheap way of spending a Sunday afternoon (I should mention that they are only open on Sundays).
