Newcastle Airport Limited

Newcastle Airport is a LOT different to what I thought it would be like, I know it's considered a *regional* airport and I was surprised to see how BIG it actually is and quite busy too. Inside the arrival terminal is a coffee shop, seats seem to be a bit lacking though.... staff were quite helpful and the arrival boards were adequate. Parking was great and the prices a lot LOT cheaper than out at Mascot, parking was divided into Bronze, Silver and Gold - depending on how close you wanted to park, but even parking in bronze it was only what I consider a relatively short walk - though there is a bus that will pick you up and take you to the terminal. I can't rally say much on the departure side as we just dropped our friends off, there were lots of seats and an area like a mini food court and shopping centre - here you could charge phones etc an access Wi-Fi.

Small regional airport, short walk to terminal, but not great if raining. Central area, have found phone service can be poor in various places. Fairly quick baggage delivery. Landing on time however will depend on military activity in the area.
