An awful experience! I went there a few days ago to see Leslie to get my regrowth fixed and my preexisting blonde colour more evening toned out and came out with worse colour then I started with. I now have grey/purple colour around the front of my hair and roots plus very light blonde colour in swatches throughout my hair. My hair is also snapping off significantly more whenever I brush it. I contacted the salon owner via email and asked for some sort of refund and explained the situation, that I didn't want more bleach/colour put on my hair and the owner responded with the rudest email. I wont be recommending anyone go to this salon ever. Very upsetting experience.
In all honesty, going to this place was a complete waste of time. I was super excited to get my hair freshened up until I had my consultation and found the hairdresser to be quite arrogant and not very accomadating. It just seemed they were uncapable of what I requested because the request was most certainly realatstic and not unachievable.. Biggest let down And salon experience I've had in the years of going to reputable hairdressers in canberra!! Would not reccomend to anybody unless you want to be disappointed.
In response to your criticism of Next Hair and its staff. As I understand it, when you came to us you hair was in our opinion in a very damaged and compromised state. Our professional advice to you was that your hair was too damaged from previous color services for us to attempt anymore lightening to your existing blonde. I believe after consultation with our Head colorist and 2 other staff members observing the consultation that you were addressed in a polite and professional manner and not in the way you described. it is unfortunate that you could not have the service you wanted but we take our job and the condition of our clients hair seriously enough to refuse to create more damage in hair that is already extremely fragile. We wish you the best and hope your hair survives.
I have been going to Next Hair in Braddon for about five years. I have always found the staff to be very friendly and professional. I love the way my hair feels and looks after being a Next Hair. Clair is my stylist. Clair cuts and colours my hair beautifully. I am looking forward to my next appointment at Next Hair.
