Nghi Ngan Quan
The place to go for PhoPho and bun bo hue are the main attractions at this casual Vietnamese eatery. What the restaurant lacks in decor, it makes up for in fare that's tasty, cheap, and fresh. Pho - a steaming broth with noodles, seasonings, and beef (other meats can be substituted) - keeps customers happy, as do the steaming bun baskets full of freshly made delights. Customers also rave about the vermicelli dishes and rice paper rolls.

When they first opened their food was good and they respected the asian patrons who made them who they are today. Now that they have moved to the new place they are all concerned about profit and treat western customers like god and asian customers like thrid class citizens. The food is bad, venue is so cramped and noisy and you have to shout to hear each other and nothing compared to some other more recent restaurants that have popped up. You would be stupid to go here when there are so many choices around the area. Most of the time its filled by western customers who don't know if it's authentic and just eat anything and think it's brilliant. When an asian restaurant is filled with asians you know its authentic and good. Only ignorant asians would still go there now who would eat anything!!
Long time fan of Nghi Ngan Quan but haven't visited since they changed premises. A family dinner was the perfect opportunity to do so. It is a large space and we were seated upstairs however, considering this the service was reasonable. The food, as ever, was excellent. Cold rolls, spring rolls, banh xeo, roll your own cold rolls, rice hotpot, salt and pepper squid, salt and pepper soft shell crab, beef, dessert - tick, tick, tick, tick. Bookings are recommended.
I came here quite late last night in-hopes for a quick and small bite to eat but that was a failure. It was so busy inside and the line by the front counter for people waiting was quite long. My friend and I waited for about 15 minutes before we decided to just go somewhere else. I would recommend definitely booking in as this place has proved to be very popular now since moving to this location.
Came here for dinner catchups with the girlfriends and as good as the food was as usual, three out of the four coconut juices we ordered were off. They were replaced but two of the girls got stomach aches and weren't sure if it was from the sips they had or something else that night in the food maybe. We were all stilled charged for the coconut juices-fine, but we received no apologies.
