Nicholls Group

Nicholls Group, My advise, don't touch any of this group! They have gone into liquidation and don't honour the warranties. The newer company under the same name and phone uses a different ABN. We bought a 3kw solar system, inverter now needs replacing although under warranty there is nothing we can do except register with as a creditor with the liquidator. Fair trading cannot help as they are using a different ABN! We have also found that the 3kw system purchased only had a 2.5kw inverter installed although all paperwork indicated a 3kw. Do yourself a favour and avoid anything to do with this GROUP!

Very dodgy indeed. Called them for a service - Glen the Technician turned up with a ladder and a screw driver. Spent less than 10 seconds near the outdoor unit then removed the air filter and hosed it down and spent some time removing the wall control, Went up into the ceiling and was down in 5 seconds and service complete. Spoke to service manager (Julie and also Lucille who sent the invoice) they claim the refrigerant pressure and temperature would have been checked by Glen with a pen like instrument without even removing the side panel. Spoke to A/c manufacturer who is baffled by thin new instrument they have got.My whole system shut down the next day. Out of the 7 items described in the invoice only one was completed. Nicholls service is worth less than a nickel. And this fish stinks from its head.
