I would like to echo several of the previous reviewers comments. This retail experience has been one of the strangest and worst my wife and I have ever been through, totally non professional!Only after interventions by Fair Trading and my Bank was it resolved. If you value your hard earned dollar and care about service and quality please give serous consideration as to where you choose to purchase your future furniture needs. This has been a personally debilitating time as we were going through extreme grief with the loss of a precious loved one.
Sadly all this trauma could of been avoided if a standard of ethical honestly had been initially employed, something, that as any customer walking into a retail establishment would all hope to expect.
Just went in to Nick and Janes again for my next purchase, as its also an excuse to go in and have a chat to the most lovliest staff that i have ever met in retail, they treat me like royalty. Everything that I have purchased, is great quality and recommend them to all my family and friends.
They saw me coming. I went into buy a firm king koil mattress on secial for $1499. He took me to an A H Beard bed (who are the manufacturer for king koil) I was sold a bed for $1199. I later looked on line & at A H Beards website where the same bed is in fact $599! Talk about day light robbery. I rang this morn to cancel only to be hung up on by Jane. Clearly I was ripped off. Never again will I shop at Nik & Janes. Unprofessional, rude & dodgy sales reps.
Poor customer service, horrific communication, and completely nonchalant staff. Couldn't care less about the customer's experience.
Products arrived faulty, some not at all, and one was out of stock for over two weeks with no advice given when purchasing or coordinating delivery.
Do yourself a favour and go somewhere reputable.
