Ninja Japanese Restaurant
Ninja Japanese Restaurant
‘Ninja’ Japanese restaurant tucked away in the Northern Beaches suburb of Avalon serves up a mix of traditional and contemporary Japanese cuisine, including warm cooked dishes and a wide range of sushi. Share a bottle of Japanese sake with friends over a meal, or bring your own alcohol. The prices are as reasonable as the portions are generous, which will leave no one hungry or poor at the end of the evening.
With a diverse array of fresh ingredients utilised by the talented head chef Hideaki Serizawa and his team, ‘Ninja’ restaurant settles the long argued debate ‘Pirates versus Ninjas’ with the winner clearly being the latter. Enjoy!

Discover this elegant hidden gem tucked into a leafy corner of a carpark for Japanese that goes beyong tempura and teriyaki. The biggest problem may be trying to choose from the enticing menu, but it would be hard to go past the spider roll (soft shell crab sushi) and niku tataki (raw sliced beef.) There is a rich pork belly special, hot pots and yes, tempura and teriyaki. The wagyu steak is popular but I prefer the Japanese style steak. Sushi and Sashimi is better on weekends when they have a special sushi chef. Plum sake is a must. About $15 - $25 for a main.
