Terrible customer experience. Such a waste of precious time.
A few days ago, I arrived to my appointment to see the receptionist was chatting non-stop with a customer (whom I presume wanted to pick her up).
I ignored that, apologised and announced myself so I could be attended.
I waited for less than 10 mins, which was OK for me.

Given the bulk billed nature of this business I was expecting somewhat of a get them in get them out setup. I was pleasantly surprised when I found everyone very caring and professional. It's a small office with only the receptionist, nurse and dentist there on the Saturday I went. The dentist was very good doing a thorough clean while at the same time being gentle. They have a cash back scheme where they give you $10 to do a quick online survey after the visit so in effect you are being paid to go to the dentist :)
I just went there today as I had very little cash to spend on a dentist. I'm not an aussie resident yet and have no Medicare but I do have private health insurance with BUPA but very low extras so I was expecting a scale and clean to cost me at least $200. There turned out to be an excess of $121 but they covered it! I was so surprised I asked why/if they were subsidised but she said nope....anyway I'm thrilled to know I can afford a "free" cleaning a year now! Oh and he didn't pretend I needed my fillings re-done or anything which I was on the lookout for, as a dentist I went to with a Groupon last year tried to tell me that (I called BS...rightfully so!) Also he was lovely, really friendly and chatty (canadian and south african accent, ask for him, he's there two days a week). They did a great job, really clean place, very impressed!
