Very cool space. Excellent beer selection with a huge whiskey menu. Small wine list. The menu is excellent - everything looks appetising. We ordered the wild venison meatballs and I was not prepared for the beautifully presented plate that appeared. The taste matched presentation. The fried chicken had sold out which tells you that that is the dish to have. Great stuff coming out of a tiny kitchen.
Once again, if it wasn't for the internet I would have had no idea that this place existed. In fact I believe that it is quite new. Basically it is a cross between a whisky and a craft beer bar, which suits me just fine since I quite like my craft beer, but am not a big fan of whisky. However their selection of whisky is actually quite extra-ordinary, to the point that if you are into whiskey then you are going to be really spoilt for choice (as was the case with me an the craft beer). I ended up having one that was brewed in the Claire Valley (since I'm seeking out South Australian craft beers while I am here). It wasn't bad, but certainly not the best. The place has two levels, which is good because it seems to be quite popular. Mind you, it can be a little hard to find, but certainly worth checking out if you like your craft beer (or whiskey).
