North Gosford Private Hospital

This was my third admission to Gosford Private and I continue to be impressed by their standard of care. I was booked for surgery with an overnight stay. Unforeseen issues post op meant I would need to return for a further procedure, however my surgeon was able to have me attended to, without discharge, the next day. I was impressed by the management of the changes to my admission. Meal types, whether fasting, clear fluids, light etc were ordered as appropriate. All staff were quite obviously aware of what was happening with my treatment and calls for attendance were answered promptly. I didn’t get to eat a lot, but what I did was on par with other meals I’ve had in hospitals. My room was bright and clean and all equipment was operational. Every staff member I encountered was friendly and professional. I was well informed at all stages as to the procedures I was undergoing and the follow up treatment. Doing a great job!

wonderful care from all staff, but I am sorry to say that the food was not up to a reasonable standard, hot meals were atrocious in my opinion, compare to 'airline' meals they were substandard, can I say more?
