Truly Impressed with the staff and experience with this hospital went in on 15/12 came out 17/12 and cannot fault service staff comfort or anything I was looked after from check in to leaving. agreed it was relatively quiet over the weekend but I doubt it would have been any different had it been s busy period so thank you staff my experience was great!
Staff are under too much pressure nurse to Patient ratio must be too high or lack of staff.
Poor staff they try really hard but You get forgotten they cannot be blamed.
I was asked if I had had meds, even when there were two there as procedure no time to fill in the paperwork .
After being admitted Thursday, Saturday I said I had to shower.
Someone will get really hurt one day and the blame will go on the nursing staff,Ramsay health consider your staff and patients not the shareholders before disaster strikes or people avoid the hospital.
everyone did the very best they could if I had required more attention as with my room mate I don't think the staff would have coped.
Food was great beds comfortable.
Worst experience of my life. Was put in a room with a 94 year old woman after I had major surgery. Instead of trying to get better myself I was forever required to buzz nurses, even jump up and push emergency buttons when she fell. I'm not here to be a caretaker for your patients! I had to clean the toilet every time i used it, due to faeces on it!! I'm here to recover. I honestly would have been better off at home.
Two years later and this appears to be the norm- I had major surgery but sought an early discharge after 4 days of sleepless misery
We had a pretty good experience at North West when our twins were born. The special care nursery is very food and the staff ate very helpful in the nursery. Sometimes finding nurses in the maternity ward can be challenge and wonder whether nurse ratio is too low. Another disappointment is unlike mater there is no bunk bed for the father to stay overnight or just have a arvo snooze.
