The Norton Legal team provided a fantastic service, and made our first home purchase as smooth as possible. Alison and the rest of her team were knowledgeable, efficient, organised and friendly, and anticipated the questions we had along the way. I would have no hesitation in recommending Norton Legal.
Thanks so much for your feedback, it is really appreciated. I'm so glad that we were able to help.
We have been completely satisfied with the assistance received from Alison and her team, so much so we have recommended Norton legal to several friends. We had complete trust in the team from the beginning and they assisted us to navigate the challenges of selling and buying a home with confidence. Thanks Alison.
I used them to buy my new property , However a caveat sect 84 had been placed on my old "selling" property and
I had 3 hours before I signed the contract for my new property. My conveyancer for selling was totally unavailable.
Nortons said it was not their business to tell me what a sect 84(2) caveat was. I took a chance, googled it and signed the new contract. Personally I think just asking "what a caveat sect 84(2) " is should not be a problem, I sought no advice only a clarification as to what it was.
I think they would be fine in a straight forward buying or selling situation. but thinking out of the box is not their forte.
Hi John,
Thank you for your feedback and I'm sorry to hear that you are not entirely satisfied.
I note however that your query related to a matter in which you had instructed another firm.
I have spoken to my staff member who recalls speaking to you about the matter and who said that the caveat was likely to be a purchaser's caveat. It would not be appropriate or prudent for us to give you advice about a matter in which we are not instructed as we would not have all of the facts or information however we did try to assist you as much as possible in the circumstances.
I note that the matter in which we were instructed settled on time.
I would be very happy to discuss this with you in more detail over the phone and can be reached on 9314 7320.
Thanks very much
