Norwest Fresh Seafood

This place has been our local for fresh and cooked seafood for years. It's gone right off since the change of ownership. The seafood doesn't smell fresh anymore and the quality of the cooked seafood is not as good as it used to be.

We went to Norwest Fresh Seafood this afternoon and bought two blue crabs and couple of other seafood. When we got home and open the paper wrap to take the blue crabs out, we found that one of them had been stealthily substituted. It was old and smelly one instead of the fresh one we had picked from the shop. It’s very disgusting. We would never ever go to the shop again. By the way we had taken the photo as the record as it was too late to go back to the shop for the day.

One of the crowd’s favourite in the centre as you can tell from the queue of customers ordering their take away dishes. I’ve tried several of their dishes (grilled and fried fish and some salad) and they are good. Well priced too considering seafood is pretty pricey in general. I’ve never bought their fresh seafood so will need to review again in the future when I do.

Ordered takeaway form here and the service was fast and the food was fresh. Their salads are pretty good too, the Greek and the seafood are my personal favourites. Ensure you ask for chicken salt on the chips! They can also cook your fish the way you like, battered, grilled or crumbed!

Love coming here for lunch. It gets very busy at lunch! My favourite is the mixed seafood. Grill octopus, prawns, fish and of course chips with chicken salt!
