Norwood Hotel

The dining part of this pub is in a funny sort of spot, and our group couldn't decide if we liked it or loathed it. Fair to say it's not great if you are a group of more than about 10 as it's long and thin, but I liked the 'feel' of it. They call themselves an Irish pub but the meals are more pub-style than particularly Irish. No salad bar, but the salads on the plate were ok. Meal prices were very reasonable and the menu had good variety - though the kids' menu was almost non-existent. Drinks were cheaper than I expected. Location is handy especially if you go to the footy or baseball next door, and they have parking out the back. The stand out was the food, great quality at a great price, I walked out satisfied and with money in my pocket.
