Nymboida Canoe Centre
Nymboida Canoe Centre is pleasantly situated on the banks of Goolang Creek, boasting lush creek frontage, walks, and ample camping area as well as clean and comfortable cabins. Whilst visiting the Canoe Centre you can do as much or as little as you desire. We offer one of the best white-water facilities in the state and have hosted many local, regional, state and national championships. Not only is white-water canoeing and kayaking popular but so is white-water rafting. The Centre also offers other activities such as canoe hire and instruction, orienteering, abseiling and low ropes challenge courses. There is always ample opportunity to actively enjoy this beautiful natural environment or just find a nice quiet spot to relax.
No water in creek for more than a year. Poor service, uninterested staff. Mowing with ride-on next to our tent. Got sick from tap water. Fell in cattle grid and hurt my shins badly going to the public phone box, no other way of getting to it. Not recommended as a family location. Smelly bins, mosquito infestation in toilets and showers.
Nymboida Canoe Centre is a wonderful place to spend time. Spent 3 nights there camping and enjoying tubing down the rapids.
Lots has changed since this review. I spent 4 days there camping but can not recommend it at the moment. Perhaps if they lifted their game it could improve.
