Oaks Horizons

I came here for a little suprize birthday party do for a friend on the weekend. My first time being in this hotel. The staff are so wonderful, they are so friendly and nice and very helpful. The room we were in was very clean and spacious. It was a balcony room but the view was facing the back car park, it was decently priced though for a last minute change of suprize venue.

My self and my partner stayed at the oaks horizons for New Year's Eve 2012- 2013. When we arrived to our room, it smelt like cigarettes, there was a foul smell in the bathroom. The spa and the sauna were both out of order and the pool was dirty. My boyfriend was evicted from the hotel room on New Year's Eve because he walked out of our room into the lift with a glass of vodka and orange juice. There was absolutely no warning from them. The staff who evicted him were disgustingly rude to me when I asked why, they laughed about it in front of me and said that if I continued to ask questions that they would call the police. They completely ruined our night aswell as other couples that got evicted for the same reason without warnings. I'm disgusted in the service and attitudes from the staff and the managment who I spoke to the next day about it. I would advise no one to stay there, it was the most horrible hotel experience I have ever had!!

A very dissapointing stay. First they tried to charge me for a bottle of wine I never purchased and withdrew it. But the worst was when I was charged an excessive $160 cleaning bill for a 1cm spot of foundation makeup, which they tried to claim was blood. I never received my money back, and they were extremely rude to me throughout the whole ordeal. The pool was dirty, as was the fold out couch in the lounge room.
