Oatlands House Function Centre

The venue is stunning, it's the nicest venue we've seen in Sydney. The staff were very professional, helpful and friendly leading up to the event booking appointments, sending paperwork with information and ideas. Angelique in particular was so lovely with us and made us feel so special and like our day was the most important day ever, she is a real asset to this business. The food portions are massive and delicious, we didn't need any extra platters. The wait staff on our wedding night were extremely professional in their manner and service.

My sister had the most beautiful wedding here. I was her bridesmaid and although the process of getting married is long and stressful, Naomi at Oatlands looked after my sister so incredibly well. Nothing was ever too much for her and everything on the day was perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed the process and the day itself. Couldn't fault the venue :)

My daughter had her reception in the Rose Suite of Oatlands House. The staff looked after the guests with no exceptions and went out of their way to please us. Everyone on the evening was so happy and kept talking about what a great time they were having. The food, service and the atmosphere were sensational. I would recommend Oatlands to any mother looking for a venue for her daughter.

We had our wedding reception at Oatlands House and from the moment we arrived at Oatlands House we were warmly greeted with kind words and smiles by my coordinator and his team - such a great first impression on all my guests. We were treated like royalty in the bridal suite, and it did not stop for the whole night. The service was impeccable and we have not stopped talking about the event. All my family and mum and dad were made to feel welcome and were also very happy with out choice as they had such a wonderful night. I cannot say one bad thing about our wedding reception and we have received many compliments. The food, the waiters, the way the room was set up, the DJ, all were brillant and we can't thank you enough for giving us the magical day that was. We would most certainly recommend Oatlands House to friends, family and strangers. We were very, very happy and will remember our wedding reception for a long time to come, so thank you!

Visited as a guest for a wedding. It was a moderately sized function - approx 80 ppl. Service was friendly but I was sitting at the end of the table and the waiter bumped me twice (major major bump, not a little knock). Also, we were sitting at the end of the table with the legs directly in front of us - quite uncomfortable. Parking was easy. It was very pretty and the outdoor area was pleasant. Poor acoustics, I think the lack of carpet contributed to this - LOTS of background noise. Hard to understand speeches.

In summary, the venue was perfectly adequate but I wouldn't rave about it or recommend it to a friend.
