Absolutely disgusted by how we were treated tonight. This is about the 6th time in a row our meal has either been delivered an hr late, too early, late again, wrong food & when I ring up to ask where our meal is (as it is now 1/2hr late, again), I get abused over the phone. When I complained to the delivery staff that I wasn't happy it was 1/2hr late, rather than apologise they just tells me I should be thankful it wasn't the night before as they were an hour late! Last time I will EVER order from Ocean Grove Pizza.
Years ago (like 10+) they used to be good but man are these pizzas tasteless. They are way overpriced and even deliver what you don't order! The cheese they use is ridiculously cheap. I grew up locally and loved their pizza but since my return i have ordered several times over and I honestly cant believe how consistently bad they are. Not only in quality but also customer service. One staff actually started arguing with me when I called to inform them they delivered the complete wrong order! No apologies, no offer to sort it out, nothing. Just 'I'll do better next time alright!!' Tip: Dont pay before you get the product and even taste it before you hand the cash over. It's a lot easier to get some kind of customer service quality when the cash is still in your pocket!!!
The pizza is half decent, the pasta can be good or really bad. The service at the shop near Safeway is horrid. Rude & nasty staffs who have no customer service skills at all. A frown on their faces, blunt speech and rude tones in their voices. A smile wouldn't hurt, and some friendly service. Won't be back to that shop, would rather travel into ocean grove to the shop in town.
