I'm new to the area and was looking for a place to have my hair cut. Chanced upon this review page and went down after reading what has been posted here. Lina runs the place, and is a fantastic barber. My cut started with her asking what I want, and when I told her I was not sure, she suggested options. The cut itself was great, and Lina doesn't rush through the cut. All in a great hair cut at a great price!

Beyond the cut, Lina doles out quality banter, and as one reviewer stated earlier, can talk about almost anything under the sun. Get to know her; she's an interesting character!

As a barber fanatic, the first thing I do when moving into a new city, I look for a barber who does NOT shampoo hair, sells hair products and offers you skinny decaf latte.
It is about the cut stupid, and Lena delivers hands down.
She is the Scissorhands of Aussie barbers, the cutthroat princess of Sydney and the shearing prodigy of Kensington.
30 years and barbers in all Australian cities it took me to find the best.

And the best is Odessa in Kensington.

My husband is a bit too conscious about his hair. This is why we went to this hair salon only after we got a recommendation from our friends. The hairdresser is really good. Definitely coming again.
