Hired an electric eel which turned out to be faulty. Upon returning it was told that a mechanic would look at it. If faulty no follow up was suggested. Resul: waste of time, money and received numerous bruises and blisters. Back to Kennard I go. Pay a bit more but get what you pay for i.e. well maintained machines with customer service. As I am now a local will be looking at other hire options.
Sue and Tim and there team at Oliver hire were incredible. They gave us lots of wonderful ideas and advise that really worked for our sons 21st birthday party as I had no idea how many chairs or tables or how many heaters ect I should get for a outside party for 200 guests. Sue was wonderful she spent so much time explaining and showing me lots of options. They provided the marquees, furniture , heaters and lighting that all looked stunning on the night. They were friendly, professional and honest throughout.We really enjoyed working with them they made a potentially very stressful experience easy and simple. I cant thank them enough
Worst customer service ever experienced. Damaged my bumper bar when they loaded chairs, took photo straight away & reported by person & email. 6 visits & several calls later. Manager calls & straight away denies any fault, claims to have CCTV. I can see where this is heading already! Go down & no CCTV produced just a denial despite all the evidence clearly showing damage and time done. Very rude and turns & walks away in middle of discussion. Will never use again & am sure there are firms out there that are happy to accept accidents do happen!!
Lets just be clear, we didnt damage your bumper bar, you had bumps all over your bumper bar and paint missing in different spots, hence why we did not accept responsiblity. The CCTV evidence showed that the chairs didnt hit the bumper bar.
An obvious response from someone who DIDN"T show any CCTV, but now claims it shows no evidence. There were not bumps "all over" as I have the pictures to prove it, unlike your mysterious CCTV!!!

I honeslty had no idea what i needed for my 18th birthday party. Luckily the lady at the oiver hire desk suzy showed me some amazing odomuns and cocktail glasses plus an awesome marquee that we used, making my party such a success. Dad was fascinated with the lights we hired as well lol.
Oliver hire was perfect especially,for rookies like me who need solid advice and hassle free party hire. Will defianlty be back for my next party.
