On Wednesday I was quoted $129 for a Telstra Cruise or an Aspera F24 to replace the unlocked ZTE F286 I purchased for $49 11 months previously( fromOAM) to use on the Telstra network using a Boost SIM. I needed a new phone because Telstra are closing their 2G and I require an 850 MHz not a 900 MHz device, which the ZTE is, for Telstra 3G.He gave me an Optus SIM so I could continue to use my ZTE but now on the Optus Network'
I was not happy to leave Boost so I did some research on the internet and found I could purchase a locked Telstra Cruise for $29 at Telstra, Big W and Harvey Norman or for $28 in Melbourne.
