If there's a 0 star option I would have selected. Worst new car purchasing experience ever. Limited to no post-sales contact from sales person on status of vehicle coming in, despite being told at the time of sales the vehicle is on ship and will be available mid-next month. Finance area was in shambles. Booked in finally to pick up car and I get a call 10 mins out from pick up of vehicle that finance (with Mazda, applied for and signed at OP Mazda) was not all ready. I've posted more detail in public Google Review as the overall dealership rating is high based on Service Department reviews and I don't want people to go there and get the same awful experience. You don't want to spend $40-50k for the level of frustration. The new finance manager has apologised and trying to fix the mess afterwards, it does not redeem this place. Asked to speak with dealer manager but have not received any contact.
I’m heading out later today to buy a car - it won’t be a MAZDA. You have had my MAZDA 2 for a week trying to fix the transmission. It’s less than 5 years old always serviced by you and I’ve bought 3 cars from you but I’ve got to pay the labour to fix it.yes you have offered to pay for parts which let's face it is an admission this should have happened. You agree this is not good so tell me to talk to MAZDA Australia. 3 hours on the phone to them and they also agree it's not good and tell me to talk to you. I’m off to buy a new car today and it won’t be a MAZDA. I will never buy a MAZDA and I’m telling all my friends about how MAZDA think it’s ok to have car less than years old to have transmission failure. So far no one I’ve told thinks this is ok. I have also reported you to the ACCC who take a dim view of issues such as this
I recently purchased a Mazda MX5 from Osborne Park Mazda. The staff there are very friendly until you’ve paid for the vehicle and then whilst they are still friendly, any care and attention has mysteriously disappeared. Firstly the mileage on the clock was twice what was advertised and what the paperwork showed. When I questioned the discrepancy the salesman suggested I should have known as I had taken the car for a test drive. Subsequently, I was made to feel as if it was my fault that there was a discrepancy after he had tried to divert my attention from the problem, rather than take responsibility. We phoned the finance manager about transferring the funds only to be met with, “I’ve been in meetings all morning and I’ve had 150 emails in my inbox.” Then, I had to get some software installed for the navigation system and music to work. I was told I would be informed when it was ready to be installed in the vehicle. Two weeks later I had to phone the ...read more
Purchased my new Mazda 3 max late last Monday and would sincerely like to thank Walter for his excellent customer service. However I must say that the staff at Osborne Park Mazda from the receptionist who answered my call, the service department and then Walter, exceeded all expectations when I needed after sales assistance on the following miserable wet and wild Wednesday and they promptly came to my assistance. Highly recommend the whole team. Thank you all very much.
Customer service from Used Car Sales was good (despite a little "gamesmanship" on pricing). However the service dept were disappointing in not spotting a non- sealing auto transmission gasket that our local mechanic fixed for us. Lesson for us all is get a good mechanical check on used cars.
