I was passing through Melton for work and stopped in for dinner. I went the pad Thai with chicken and veg. I have not had a good pad Thai in a long time but this one was fantastic! Almost as good as some I had in Thailand. I was a bit sceptical when I walked in as it wasn't the prettiest restraint but the food and service were fantastic.
we had take away from here for the 1st time tonight, the sweet n sour, you pay $14.50 for half a container of soggy fish...and the fried rice was ok..but we didn't expect such a small container... food average in taste, but I work too hard for my money to get half filled containers of soggy fish.....won't be back.
This is my favourite restaurant in Melton by far, the food is so fresh and authentic which is rare in many areas. The garden dining area out back is lovely too. I love their fried rice its nothing like Chinese fried rice its just delicious. They also run cooking classes during the year i have attended 2 of them, the cost for 2012 was only $30.00 per class to cook 3 meals in a fun entertaining atmosphere.
Well worth the dinning experience
This would have to be the nicest Thai restaurant in Melton! the food is simply fantastic, you don't have to wait long for your meals. The staff are so friendly and helpful if you don't know what the meals are, or heat (1, 2, or 3 chillies) they will happily explain it to you, or even suggest the perfect meal for your tastes. At the restaurant, you have to experience the outdoor garden eating area, heated for those chilly evenings.
We highly recommend Pad Thai, it is certainly value for money and bet against you walking away hungry.
