Palais Theatre

I attended the Alanis Morissette concert last night.

I love the old Palais. It's a beautiful building with great acoustics. The air conditioning at a recent concert was stiflingly hot but the acoustics were sharp and great. There was perhaps a bit too much distortion but overall the theatre is a great venue.

An old theatre which is charming and clean. Staff are helpful and friendly. The theatre itself is beautiful although the sound is not very good for a concert- unclear and rather deafening- possibly due to the age of the building and concrete walls. This might be particularly felt as we were sitting by the wall. Might be better in the middle.
