Palmers Glass

Did a renovation on a very old bathroom. Palmers Glass installed a shower screen in a fairly confined and tricky space for me.

They were very professional and helpful from the beginning. Excellent service coupled with practical advice made it a stress free process.

Tina was "EXTREMELY" rude and condescending when she called at 8am and woke up by saying "all abit much for you is it" my reply was "no i just woke up" her reply "yeah i can tell" and hung up on me

We ordered shower screens for three bathrooms in our new house. The job's been done quick despite Xmas time. And with a perfect fitting to our complicated curved wall. Well done!!

It took 3 tries to get the installation right. First time, some pieces of our splashback were measured incorrectly and another piece was scratched by the installers and had to be redone. Second time, the same piece that was scratched was scratched at the factory and installation was cancelled on the morning it was due to be installed. Third time, one of the pieces was installed upside down so that a rough painted edge was visible. All fixed now, but pretty ordinary service

After calling a number of companies, I settled on Palmers to deliver me a new bathroom mirror to be inset into my tiling (a space had been left during my renovation). During the lead up and beyond, they were a pleasure to deal with and responded to queries quickly. There was a bit of a hiccup during installation it was a Saturday and got the feeling they wanted to do it quickly to get on with their day. Whilst I can empathise with this, it left the mirror not flush with the tiles and not quite finished at the top. When I contacted their office the following week, they arranged for someone else to come out the following week to fix this up. Whilst they were not able to get it flush (it was already glued on), they did finish the edges and top so it looks lots better. Overall good value for money, they were concerned that I, as a customer, was left happy and I do like to support local businesses.
