PappaRich

I've been eating at Papa rich for quite some time now, but I normally eat at the one in Melbourne central. I ate here at Doncaster thinking it'll be the same quality as what I'm use but I was rather disappointed. I felt that it lacked a lot of the flavours and the serving size felt a little smaller. I don't know if they were having a bad day or it's actually always like that, but because I do normally enjoy the food at Papa Rich I'm willing to give it another try some time.

PappaRich is amazing, sometimes I can't believe just how quick and polite the service is. I know it's cheap and not exactly exquisite fine dining, but the value for money is unbelievable. Think I'll be going there tonight!!!

I love Malaysian food and Paparich is definitely one of my favourite places to fix my Malaysian craving. They're always 100% consistent with their food and I've never been disappointed. I always have the roti bread to start off with. One of my favourite dishes is the tandoori chicken with the yoghurt. It's cooked just right, flavoured nicely and depending if you like spice or not, but it goes really well with the spicy sauce from the roti bread. They do get busy at times and have a tendency to bring out food inconsistently so if you're in a group, some people will have finished their food while others haven't even received theirs yet. What I found is when I tell them I want to cancel a particular dish, it comes out immediately!

A large stand alone restaurant, busy and noisy, just like a typical restaurant in Asia. There is also function room and kids room. Toilets are bit shocking, unflushed by customers but otherwise clean. Service is fast paced and friendly.
