The school is not big and I love it, each class is small so my kids are not in over crowded classrooms, 18 - 19 students per class is just perfect. My kids love the library. The teachers and staff there are so nurturing, they actually care and they loved working in the school as you can see they welcome the kids each morning. My kids confidence sore in this school and they have loved going to school this morning. There is no canteen but you can order food from their online system and has good choices not hash brown and chicken nuggets. I love them they do plan the curriculum and the writing program is excellent. The open space that back onto a park is lovely. Other parents are nice and my little one has advanced so much in Prep this year. The whole school is pretty much new grounds so all the facilities are still very nice. I would recommened.
I have students at Parkmore Primary and I am extremely happy with the school, its staff and its facilities. Everyone is very friendly and work well together. They have more things to do, fates, camps, and a large amount of land for the kids to run around in. If you've got primary aged kids and you're looking for a new school, then check out Parkmore Primary.
now they are sending kids to the camp, cost over $200.00. Does the school have second thought whether parents can afford it? probably not!!!
School productions, camps etc play a very important role in the social and emotional enrichment of children. Teachers and the school community go to alot of extra effort to offer these extra curricular activities to their students. If you want a school focused solely on study with no incursions, excursions, camps etc, why don't you go somewhere else. We changed schools for the exact opposite reason. Parkmore sounds fantastic. I can't work out if you really can't afford it or if you don't hold any value in it. The school will help you out if your situation is that dire and you want your kids to go or you can keep your money and not sent them. It's not compulsary. Otherwise, I think you should move. Everyone has the freedom to choose and your views seem to be at odds with the general Parkmore community.
Parkmore Primary School is a wonderful, small community school that has created a friendly, caring and unique culture with all the families that attend. The staff are amazing and really care for the welfare of the students. As a parent I particularly value the excellent communication that is fostered between parents and staff and the 'open door' policy that exists with the principal - all questions, feedback and concerns are treated with repect and responded to in a clear and positive way. But most importantly my children love their school and nothing makes me more happy than that!
