Parkview Hotel

This really isn’t one of those standout pubs that I like, though I won’t actually say that there isn’t anything particularly bad about it. It is just a typical pub that doesn’t really shine all that much in my memory. The service was okay, and the atmosphere reasonable, but it really isn’t anything that makes it stand out from all the others that I have visited.

Came here randomly with a friend as I live nearby, at first we were a bit worried that this might be a franchise of one of the pubs/bars but we were reassured that they havent been under that management for more than 5 years. Our dinner was delicious, we had the house duck spring rolls with Asian dipping sauce(10/10), stuffed chicken breast (it was amazing) and pork ribs. We really enjoyed our meal and will be making this our regular catch place. Oh and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

If you want down to earth pub, with down to earth staff this is your local. They look after their regulars, with good food and good volume on the tvs. As a League fan, I love coming to the Park View weekly to watch the league.



The food is also well priced and above average to your normal pub grub. It's actually really really nice to be honest. So if your in the area, and looking for a decent place to watch the league, eat and just enjoy yourself. I'll meet you at the Parkview.

Cute local pub with really nice food at the bistro & restaurant. Usually nice and quiet but with good atmosphere. Food is very reasonably priced. Staff are very helpful and polite but also ready with a joke or two.
