Would give '0' if I could. Waited 20 minutes after ordering while the only person there took orders. After that time, they decided to line up all the orders and start cooking. After another 20 minutes, and others just started to get their long-awaited orders, on enquiry found our order sheet lost - walked out of over-crowded store, hungry, with refund, 50 minutes after arriving in what was an empty store. How can you have one person on, and that one person having no clue.
OMG, we can't get enough of their fish & chips! Crispy and light batter over the fish and fresh hand cut chips, all cooked to perfection, first time every time! We also ordered some prawns which were some of the tastiest we've ever had. We couldn't believe the freshness of their seafood and how reasonably priced they are!
For those of you who are considering dinner there, you'll have to make sure you put your order in by 5.30pm as they close at 6pm.
This place is a distance from the city, by road or waterway, but it is worth it.
Freshest seafood that money can buy and the chips, oh the chips, they are hand cut, crunchy outside and creamy inside. The tucker is wrapped in paper, nothing else, just like it should be, just like the olden days.
This takeaway shop is right on the beach with lovely views of the Hawksbury River and Ku-ringai Chase National Park. Easy setting on a top spot selling the best fish and chips in town, just awesome!
