The worst experience ever! They sold us gas heating unit ($6.500), gave us "warranty card" with the wrong number. When ducted heating stopped working (still on warranty), we firstly tried to contact number on "warranty card", which doesn't work at all, then called to Peninsula Air Conditioning. The lady told us that we have to pay to fix it because they have no responsibility to fix it. Yes, the gas heating, that can blow up the whole house!!! So, one phone doesn't work, another doesn't want to fix it! We call to fair trading, who told us that by Australian law, the seller must provide us with service if the service company fail to make it and suggest us to lodge a complaint. We decided to try one more time and speak again with the manager. The manager was really rude, didn't know when and who will fix it, told us they can't fix it and spoke so soft voice that I barely hear him. ...read more
I had a fault 9 months after installation, the office manager 'passed the buck' to Daikin, even though the Daikin procedure is to have the installer attend service calls for the first 12 months. Also note service calls will only be answered a couple days of the week. In my opinion this attitude to service is very short sighted and contrasts with my positive experience with sales and installation
I could not recommend these guys more highly. We've got a tight brick and concrete townhouse so it wasn't easy. Scott spent a lot of time carefully measuring out and planning some locations that other companises said were impossible, and then his guys just came in and did it. They were polite, friendly, prompt and constantly cleaned up after themselves. Scott even came out one evening to help us with an electrical fault that turned out to have nothing to do with the A/C. Wow! I wish all tradies were like that!
I had a split system installed. Professional service from quote to completion of the job. I wish all tradesmen I deal with were this skilled. They covered the work area, consulted me throughout the install and cleaned up afterwards. The position of the unit is perfect. Very highly recommended.
We also had ducted gas heating installed. Everyone in the "supply chain" was fast, efficient, polite and the installation guys worked very hard to get it right, consulting along the way. The job was done promptly and everything left in perfect order. And at a good price - highly recommended.
