Penrith City Council

This business is letting it's rate payers down by not informing them of the cost to their health and wellbeing the western Sydney airport will bring. The death rate will rise. Violence will rise due to sleep deprivation from no curfew. They must oppose it.

Today is 11th Feb and I just rang to book a council cleanup.The first available is 18th March...over a month away! The council has the hide to raise our rates !Not good enough!

Where do I start? Well I cannot complain much about the Council. I have contacted them a number of times in regards to street light issues and the like, and they have always been able to point me in the right direction for assistance.

The only bug bear has been the bin collections at times, over xmas there was meant to be some extra bin collections, however some were missed, leaving an excess in recycling that needed to be collected. In regards to bins, I located a bin one time laying on the road in York Street full of rubbish. When I reported it, I was told that its not councils problem to pick the bin back up. Even though the collection driver saw it and left it there.
