Reiterating an earlier bad review. Today, 4 months after lodging a cancellation of an order they never had stock of, I finally got a refund. I'd given up on asking - having ring and bothered them via email several times - but I shouldn't have to. Nobody in their right mind would expect to have to wait 4 months for a refund (ESPECIALLY for something they NEVER had stock of in the first place).

I placed an order online from Penta on Wednesday 3rd April 2013. The next day I told them that I needed to have the item as soon as possible so they promised to have it to me by today but they failed to deliver the item so they gave me a full refund, which was very nice of them. I wouldn't even deal with this company again as they don't do what they promise so avoid them at all costs.

I really wish I'd visited truelocal before ordering from this group. My problems are exactly the same as all the people below.



Ordered an item on the 20th February. As of today (13th March) they have not sent it. I rang them twice over this time & got emails from them assuring me that the product would be delivered 'next week'.

When I rang them today - now for the 3rd time - I got the truth - they don't have the product (they are 'waiting for it from the supplier'). Their site actually shows that they have 'medium level' stock, which is clearly not true.

Don't buy from them. Just don't.

Placed an order online at the beginning of December. Told them it was essential that I have the item immediately. Promised it within 1 week. They failed to deliver the item. Then the delivery date was changed 5 times. I was told to come to the shop on a Saturday to collect the item. I found the shop boarded up. They claimed that the shop is never open on a Saturday but their web site confirms that it is. Having had so much trouble I have informed my credit card company and cancelled my card as they had taken a $200 deposit. Currently trying to obtain a refund from the credit card company as they have taken a deposit and didn't supply the item by the required date. Do not deal with them under any circumstance.

Email sent to Penta:

I purchased a portable hard drive from Penta on the 3rd of October 2012. It is now the 23rd of October and I have not received the item. When I paid for the item via phone (because the ordering system on the Penta website is so poor), I was told it would be $40 for postage, which is extremely expensive for postage of a small portable hard drive. I assumed for that cost, it would be delivered by courier, via overnight air freight. To my disgust, it has only been sent by normal post.
