Our dogs have been part of the Terrigal Pet Resort family for years through training and doggy day care
Wanted to take time out to thank them for all the care and personal kindness and attention such as birthday celebrations
Special people work with animals -doggy day care attendants too many to name all but eg.Ben, Allie, Lachy, Jake and Alecksandra; and Canine Evolution trainers especially Lee

We had used this resort about 8 times and we were happy with the service but I just rang to book our dog in and the usual price of $49 a day (which is the normal going rate ) only allows him out for a VERY limited time each day; the rest of the time he is contained in a small wired area. Really?
Our dog is used to a lot of exercise and it surprises, and disappoints me, to learn they consider exercise an extra you have to pay for. To go for more time outside it costs $59 (and that's not even the premium package!) I used to love the way they cared for my dogs but now it's money before service.
I wonder if losing customers like this makes wise commercial sense.

I don’t even know where to begin.
An employee admitted that our dogs would be lucky to get 15 minutes of yard play per day. We went for a tour and the kennel’s are on a long run with many other dogs who are mostly barking and howling. Few of them seemed happy to be there. It smells really bad in there too.
They will use a fabric choker on your dog without asking, or as they like to call them “slip collars”. These are strongly discouraged by the RSPCA as they can lead to fear and aggression. We wouldn’t ever dare use one on our dogs and requested that staff members not use them. They became visibly flustered and claimed that they wouldn’t. Our dog Zoe loves staying at Terrigal pet resort. I would recommend it to anybody. I like the way they keep you updated with photos and emails

Like all over protective pet lovers I researched for weeks to find the best boarding for my baby. I read the reviews on here about Pet Resorts Australia and some are quite bad. So I did some more research and made multiple telephone calls and swayed between many different boarding establishments. I had to because my Rotti/Huski mix is quite a handful. Not just a handful but I've lost friends over her behaviour and even almost got excluded from a doggy daycare because of my dogs behaviour (later explained to me as a misunderstanding). No she isn't aggressive or unsocialised. She is just very strong and hard headed and prefers the company of humans over her peers. The problem stated to me was that she was so strong they couldn't handle her, even though she isn't aggressive, just bratty.
