Peters Furniture Removalist Sydney

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! Moving interstate from Melbourne to Brisbane and goods did not show up. Failed to call. The person I spoke to told me "you get what you pay for" and hung up the phone. The whole company is a joke and would strongly advise never to use them!!! They refuse to take responsibilty for any wrong doing and loosing goods and bringing the goods that were left, late with no call prior. Rude staff who were happy to take your money to start with but not so happy to talk to you when you have an issue or complaint....they simply hang up on you.

I have been through 7 months of civil legal proceedings to try to recoup my deposit. To no avail. They refuses to even acknowledge CTTT rulings and orders from the Local court, all ordering them to return my money. Pathetic!

Terrible.

I was moving interstate, Sydney to Melbourne, and the day before my move I received an email, only because I emailed them to confirm, that they wouldn't be able to make it! They gave me the choice or rearranging everything and paying another 2 days rent as I had to move out that day, or I could find another removalist with less than 24 hours notice and have my deposit back. Its not end of February and I am still fighting for my money back. Stay away unless you want this headache on top of an already stressful time.

I moved house in October 2012 which I got Peters furniture removalist to move my stuff as they sound perfect on the phone very helpful, that is until they have your money. Once they had put my stuff on the truck they said it wouldn't all fit, so left some of my furniture to be picked up by another truck - they then charged me another $600 before they would pick it up and are extremely pushy when it comes to you paying them on time. I then did not receive my first lot of furniture for another week, the second lot arrived 3 months later - they still didn't deliver all my furniture as they "forgot" some. It is now 10th January 2013 and still waiting for the rest of my furniture. I have tried contacting them and have been given constant excuses after excuses when my stuff will be delivered. What should of taken overnight has taken almost 2 weeks. I am still waiting for the REST of my furniture. When you try and get information the response is read your contract. The furniture that has arrived is damaged so they said they'll have a meeting about it in due time. Stay away.
