Not recommended. We've been having our car serviced there for 3 years only because we bought the extended warranty when we bought the car that keeps us commited to Waitara. We have not had a single good experience yet.

Reasons include lack of communication, waiting ridiculous hours when they say the car's "ready". Each time I've brought the car in I've requested a few specific checks, which they've ignored (Such as the GPS keeps dropping out, the breaks are making a noise etc..). When I ask them why they didn't check it they make up some excuse like the specialist mechanic is away, and they tell me that I'll have to bring the car back again in a couple of months.

My partner drives a mazda and their service is excellent, and only takes place once a year. My next car will be a mazda!!! Sadly, the toyota's a nice car, but the service is shocking!

I bought a car from this dealer and chose the take their after market warranty. For that to be vliad I need to have the car serviced there. In addition this is only the first time I've been there.
The service was acceptable. It was only a minor service so nothing too difficult.
A few things of note. I called to see if the car was ready, and it was they just needed to do the paperwork, so I siad I would be down soon to collect. When I arrived 30 minutes the paperwork was still being done. Additionally the price I was initially asked to pay at pickup was $50 more then the service quote which was emailed to me. Looking at these reviews I'm not surprised. The guys at the Waitara Phil McCarroll will appear to be amazing when's selling you a car, but their after service is terrible! I'm talking about the yearly checkups and maintenance for your car. Every single time we take our car for maintenance we end up with more issues than were fixed. Plastic coverings inside the car interior would suddenly come off, or the breaks would be very hard. In addition, whenever they come to pick my husband up when the maintenance is 'done' he ends up having to wait close to two hours until the car is actually finished. There is not a shred of customer service, especially if you're not an expert in cars. I definately do NOT recommend this Toyota.

Just came back for this service centre, it was terrible experience! A bald head guy even failed present his name has really bad attitude toward to female who has little knowledge about machine. Trying to cheat and swindle more money! charged 300+ dollars for just reassemble the parts without customer's acknowledgement for continue the service. This is their way to rip off customers' so call "labour". No wondering they are laid off, and get import cars. these not working hard technician deserved it. Very unfortunate it is slowing down.

I had the best experience with the staff of Phil Mccarrol. It was smooth and seamless and I was made to feel super special. I highly recommend this dealership and thank them for all their help getting me into my beautiful new Toyota Altise
