Pho Pasteur
If I crave for Vietnamese Food, Pho Pasteur Blacktown is one of the places I go to. I especially love their salted fish fried rice. One of the best! It is a bit oily sometimes so I ask for ‘less oil’ :)
Other dishes that I normally order are deep fried spring roll and special beef noodle soup.
Discusting dirty place. Do not eat there.
Ate into my spring roll tonight to find long black hairs in it. I nearly vomited . I feel so sick thinking about it . How can westpoint owners allow these people to trade in their building ?
The tables etc were sticking and everything about it unclean .
The lady did not seemed fazed about the hair ... she only gave us a refund for the spring rolls nothing else .
Very money hungry . Dirty and disrespectful.
Zero stars from me ... close it down .
The other franchises of this place tastes a lot better, this is the more expensive and poorer tasting of the lot! Service is poor too,why is it so hard to wave someone down to take our order! Food is slow to come out also
It's main asset is location but if your really wanting Vietnamese there is a place on flushcombe road which is a lot better
I'm not sure how a food chain could be so inconsistent. First time I went it was pretty decent stuff, but went there a couple of weeks later and although I ordered the same thing as before (special beef noodle) it tasted completely different. I've had pho at plenty of restaurants before and you'll find that the special beef is the standard stuff when it comes to a place like this. However the special beef here tasted like it had stock cubes added and had an unnatural off putting sweet taste compared to what it was before or anywhere else. I was sorely disappointed about that and it leaves you with the sensation that they might be actively taking advantage of an nieve customer base just to cut costs instead of using the fresh ingredients you'd experience elsewhere. I blame the specific franchise for this, because the Sydney and parramatta stores have always yielded a satisfying product for me.
Rude and poor services, all staffs communicate in Viet only. Had a meal there with my sister last night. There was package junk in the soup noodle, not the first time! Spoke to floor manager, all i received was a meaningless Sorry, and thats all. Wouldnt recommend going again.
