Pie Face

I felt like a pie, something quick in my stomach. Unless i sit down in a proper restaurant to have a good pie or buy a packet of frozen pies from the supermarket and be disgusted later. I thought Pie Face cant be that all bad considering their main focus is pies. So i order one on the go because i didn't have time to sit down and i only ordered one as i was saving my stomach for a proper dinner later. Something quick and easy and small in my stomach, and to satisfy my craving for a pie, well Pie Face was the first that came to mind. Spencer Station was the closet one to where i was. Great, there was no line, so i ordered one. It smelt really good and looked really good. The pastry looked really crunchy, nice and golden. My first bite it was good, added a bit of tomato sauce. Then as i was half way eating the pie, the inside was slightly dry so made it a bit hard to swallow. Without my bottle of water i would have struggle to get the pie down. This was my first Pie Face experience and it was an extremely disappointing. My friend and I purchased pies and the pies were extremely dry and crispy and the inside of the pie was 'bone' dry and the pies tasted like they have been in the pie warmer for an extremely long time. Dry pastry and even drier filling. The service was ok. Store was clean and well lit. Disappointing product.
